WHAT WE BELIEVE

OUR

VISION

As a community of those who believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—and the Bible as the infallible word of God—Chandler Friends Church is committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus by investing in the lives of people and intentionally equipping each other to continue that commitment, thereby making disciples one-by-one in order to take the whole gospel to the whole world.

OUR

MISSION

Everyone Welcome

We want to be a place where everyone genuinely feels welcome despite differences.

  • So reach out and welcome one another to God’s glory. Jesus did it; now you do it! – Romans 15:7 (The Message)
  • There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:28 (NIV)

Everyone Needed

We want to be a people who give everyone a purpose greater than themselves and opportunities to contribute.

  • From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. – Ephesians 4:16 (NIV)
  • But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. – 1 Corinthians 12:18-20 (NIV)

Everyone Changed

We want to be a community that experiences transformation in Christ and invites others into the same.

  • For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. – Ephesians 5:8 (NIV)
  • Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! – 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
